Mommy Didn’t Dress Me This Morning

When I got out of bed this morning mom and dad were not there to dress me or take care of me. It was my responsibility. Just like it is every morning of everyday.

We have to make those decisions of whether to wear plaids with stripes or solids. Whether to go to work and make a living or stay home and build a career. Yes I said build a career as an Internet/Network Marketeer’.

My hero when I was a kid was to be Superman. Fly, see through walls, x-ray vision, super strength, and other power I could think up. I was invincible!!

As you can see from the picture above, that’s my face on Superman. Reason is just this. I am the power that can change mighty rivers. To leap tall buildings with a single bound. Bend steel with my bare hands. It’s true. I can do all those things because I’m some kids father and that’s how they think of me.

Two Minutes After

Have you ever done something you thought was the greatest thing ever to do only to find two minutes after you were having second thoughts? This is your defence mechanism cutting in. It’s normal for we all do it. We know that change of any kind means our lives will be different and we don’t want this even if the life we lead has it’s own problems. We can deal with it as we have been doing all along.

However the we also have a desire to know what’s over the next hill and for most of us it eats at us till we climb it. Good or bad it matters not what we discover. It only matters that we have conquered it. Every day we must make life changing decisions. Our normal paths become stale and we seek a new path. Do I take I80 or Highway 4 home today? We make this decision in an instant and the outcome is what it is. We give it no other thought.

I made a decision the other day that has impacted my life in a positive way. I became an affiliate marketeer’.
